Sitting on the dock of the Bay

A proud man boasts and brags
Pushing aside his own
Ignoring those underfoot
Sitting on his thorny throne
Tossing roses to the wrong feet
He will die alone
For him
Tears fall no more
Except from the sky above
Only a mother cries
For the child she once did love
