Are We Ready for The Truth?

Most people would like to believe that they seek the truth and that they possess the integrity to make it matter. That is MOST people; however coexisting are those that fear the truth, and what it will bring. They are the people in denial mode, protecting what they know and their way of doing it. They say they represent the truth, but really what they are doing is destroying the truth, so no one will seek it. Who are these people?
I have seen this community take leaps and bounds forward, in the management of our businesses and our investments. But in the past year we have taken ten steps back. Who is afraid now?

Don Cornelius Death     February 1, 2012

"Soul Train" creator Don Cornelius has died of a gunshot wound to the head at age 75.

Police found Don Cornelius inside his Sherman Oaks mansion in the 12000 block of Mulholland Drive.

"The death was reported as a suicide," said L.A. coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
 

The alleged "suicide" took place two years plus days after the policies were signed, leading to suspicion. 
Cornelius leqves behind two children , however the ex-wife is the sole beneficiary on his life insurance policies.
Victoria Avila aka Viktoria Chapman aka Viktoria Cornelius, will now be a much wealthier Russian model.

 It has been around and circled many times over.  What I want to know is,

What makes people lie? 

There is a difference between a fib and lie.  Yes, the fib is a lie, but it is one that is done to not hurt someone and once told it does not impact anyone else. 
 (for example:   "does this dress make me look fat?")
